The
Hoscot Shoogle: Short course, over moderate terrain (
to variable)
Duration:
Approximately
2-3
hours
For
Hoscote residents only
The program starts with an introduction to the vehicles,
then basic training on the safe use of a Trail Blazer over moderate terrain.
A Trail Blazer is not an All Terrain Vehicle and therefore it is very limited to
where it can go, so the Hoscote Shoogle is designed to give an easily
attainable experience off road, its not a race, but more like a sedate drive
through the country.
As your journey progresses, more demands are placed on
your newly found skills as the terrain does become more challenging and a bit
bone rattling at times!
Although not as technically difficult as the A.T.V.
Hoscote Hurdles, it still requires caution and respect as some of the terrain is in
fact steep and rutted. The typical Borders scenery is very rewarding.
As we continue our trip in a circular direction we find ourselves level
with the summits of most of the surrounding hills at 1000 feet; stop for a moment
and enjoy! We then head
back to base camp.
It’s a short day (approximately 1 - 2 hours) and no other
company in the country offers such an adventure! Although some of the terrain is
steep and dangerous it is relatively safe for those trained in the safe and
proper handling of our Trail Blazers.
The beauty of our Trail Blazers is that they are two-seater vehicles, allowing you to share the experience with a friend or family. For more information or to make a booking, please phone us direct on 01896
