The program starts in our
training field close to Hoscote House with an introduction to the All Terrain
Vehicles, NOT QUADS followed by intense training on the safe use of an A.T.V. over rough
terrain. The Hoscote Hurdles trail is
exclusively for the use of Hoscote House clients, both corporate groups and
families/friends. Although not our most technically difficult or strenuous
trail, at times it is physically demanding and requires a high degree of
awareness, skill and caution. The route is based within approximately 500
acres of Hoscote Estate and involves open moorland, river crossings, marsh and
woodland, offering a pleasant day's activity in rolling Borders countryside.
The Hoscote Hurdles trail is a good introduction
to A.T.V.s and what they can do with properly trained and skilled operators.
Please note that due to the extreme
capabilities of A.T.V.s, what we offer is the development of A.T.V. handling
skills, not an opportunity to race.
